Sustainable Livestock Expert - Agriculture and Rural Development (m/w/d)*

Job Description
To strengthen our highly motivated international team in the Agricultural and Rural Development Department, we are looking for a Sustainable Livestock Development Expert. Your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Support data collection for livestock Tier 2 inventories
  • Support capacity building activities and outreach for various stakeholders
  • GLEAM-i modelling of GHG emissions from livestock
Requirements
Education
Master's or Ph.D. in livestock production or related field

Knowledge
  • Master in Livestock production or Veterinary Epidemiology
  • Experience in GHG/livestock efficiency and/or One Health/Animal Health
  • PhD preferred or 2-3 years international work experience
  • Good English speaking and writing skills

Experience
  •  at least 5 years of professional experience in similar fields/positions
